Amazingly Animal Stoy - 39

When animal control was coming from the road, they saw two dogs walking together on the road, with a vehicle passing close by them.

One was a big, old Golden Retriever named Samson, who was blind and had cataracts in both eyes, so he couldn't see.

With him was a small dog, a terrier mix named Benny, who was not walking beside him but was guiding Samson. Whenever Benny would stop, Samson would stop too.

When Benny walked, Samson would follow him.

And whenever Benny turned, Samson would follow him as well.

That little dog had become his protector.

When they arrived at the shelter, they were separated because it increased the chances of being adopted due to space limitations.

Samson then became silent and wouldn't eat; he would sit in a corner of the kennel, alone without his guide.

When I read their story, I thought about adopting both of them.

As soon as Benny saw Samson, he ran over to him and jumped up with him, and Samson took a deep breath, and his fear disappeared.

Now both of them live in my house together in the living room, and every morning Benny takes Samson along to the water, so he can drink, and he guides him around the house.

The two of them have become best friends, and now they are never apart.
