Amazingly Animal Story - 16
One day, while I was working upstairs in my office, my German Shepherd came up and stopped in the doorway, barking loudly.
He went up the stairs, barking and looking down. Then he turned his head toward me, barking as if he were trying to tell me something.
He came back to the office door, still barking, and repeated this several times. It soon became clear that he wanted me to follow him. I got up and asked him,
"What's wrong?"
At that precise moment, the house began to shake.
Everything on the walls and shelves was vibrating loudly. I didn't immediately understand what was happening, but we ran down the stairs as I shouted,
"Let's get out of here right now!" “
Once outside, I felt the ground move beneath my feet… then everything stopped.
We had just experienced an earthquake, something almost unimaginable in our region.
Somehow, my German Shepherd had sensed it coming and had gone upstairs to warn me.
He’s done many clever things in his life, but that moment was by far the most extraordinary.
